ShowPRE-PRINTING
Preprinting concerns that part of the production process that precedes printing. In preprinting, your own model is designed by our experienced and specialized staff. With new ideas, experience and know-how we give the style you desire. There is also the possibility of configuring your own open file with any changes you want. In this part of the production process the customer can get an exact copy of the form to be produced, as it is displayed on the computer screen. It is a way to make the necessary corrections and conversions, in order to reach our final result by creating the printable file (pdf).
The digital file is then passed to the editor. With special programs it is placed on the shape of the paper to be printed. For each printing job, the shape of the paper used varies, depending on the size, the faces and the print jobs.
For offset printing, the now mounted file is passed to a special laser machine CTP (Computer To Plate) and is recorded on the tin (foil for each printing color).
For digital printing, the edited file is sent directly to the printer.
Thus, the pre-printing cycle closes and the printing takes place.
PRINTING
The part of the printing process, depending on the circulation (quantity of copies), is divided into two categories, digital printing and offset printing. Digital printing does not need the stage of creating tin (foil for each printing color), but simply the final printable file. With a state-of-the-art digital printing machine, we have the ability to have the final result in a few minutes. It is a very fast printing method and is recommended for a small number of prints.
In offset printing (sheet presses), we find the so-called CMYK (tetrachrome). These are the four basic colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key (Black)), from which all the others emerge. Using the tin in the presses, any high-volume printing work can be produced at a very low printing cost.
FINISHING
Each form, after printing, requires additional work, so that it comes in its final form.
A necessary task is the cutting, which gives the final shape to each form. If the shape of the form is not rectangular, but round, oval or anything else, this is done with special cutters in presses, where the paper passes and takes the shape we want.
A multi-page must be bookbinded, sewn on its back and cut.
A single sheet may require piercing or folding in two or more folds.
A form may want a thermotype, a work in which with special clichés it is printed on stamp foil paper, such as gold (gold print), silver (asimotype) etc.
Any form may want lamination. Laminating is the best choice for finishing any printing form. The special texture and appearance, combined with the durability it gives are the main reasons that are used in most cases.
The range of tasks for perfecting a form is large and varied. We, being a vertical production unit, are able to provide you with any work you wish for your own form.
